Who We Are
The Foston Foundation is a newly formed, Nashville-based 501c3. Our mission is to assist concerned adults in improving their mentoring skills with at-risk youth, while guiding them to adulthood safely. This elite group of highly trained mentors will be called GUIDES and will be able to find the gift in every youth referred to the Foundation. In addition to finding and nurturing the newly found gifts, the Guides will also be trained to look for and refer the common Adolescent pitfalls that can make the journey to adulthood more hazardous.
What We Do
We believe that there is a gift in every youth, so we provide a four-part-training Mentor Guide training which includes:
A Basic Training Adolescent Psychology and Development
B. Holistic Mentoring One
C. Holistic Mentoring Two,
D. Guide Training. This training allows the participant to not only find the gift in every youth, but to also find any pitfalls that may keep that youth from reaching their full potential. This training is offered virtually, and on demand.
