Pawster will host a table at several community events this fall, and we need your help to staff the table! These events help spread awareness about Pawster's mission and build community. This is a great way to do good while enjoying the outdoors.

Pawster's mission is to support people during times of crisis, by providing compassionate, temporary care for their pets. A crisis might be hospitalization, housing loss, domestic violence, addiction treatment, natural disaster, or any other situation that leaves a pet owner temporarily unable to care for their pet. When a pet owner is in crisis, Pawster houses their dog or cat in a loving foster home until the owner is ready to be reunited.

Looking for a flexible way to volunteer between classes? Become a Pet Chauffeur with Pawster!

Pet Chauffeurs help transport cats and dogs to foster homes, veterinary appointments, and wherever they need to go. You'll also deliver food, crates, and other supplies to foster families. Every ride you give helps keep pets safe and supports families going through a difficult time.

Once you complete orientation, you'll be added to Pawster's Pet Chauffeur list. When a transport is needed, you'll receive a request. If you're free, you can accept it. If not, no worries! Just wait for the next opportunity!

Missing your dog back home? We've got the next best thing.

Being away at school often means being away from your four-legged best friend, too. If you're missing your daily walks, tail wags, and puppy cuddles, fostering a dog through Pawster is a meaningful way to fill that gap while helping a family in need.
