Beyond the Binary is an educational workshop focused on increasing awareness and understanding of nonbinary identities, inclusive language, and effective allyship. This session will explore pronouns, micro-labels, and the diversity of gender identities beyond the binary, while addressing common misconceptions and microaggressions.
Participants will gain practical tools to support nonbinary individuals, foster inclusive environments, and engage in respectful, affirming practices within campus and community spaces. This workshop encourages learning, reflection, and accountability as part of building safer and more inclusive communities.
