Legacies in Focus is a digitization initiative working to preserve and share Fisk University’s historic photograph collections.
We’re looking for 2 students who can commit approximately 5 hours a week throughout the semester. You’ll gain hands-on experience with digitization, archives, metadata, digital humanities, and historical collections—and learn what goes on behind the scenes of creating a digital archive.
No previous experience is needed! We’re simply looking for students who are curious, dependable, ready to learn, and respectful of the collections they work with.
After signing up, you’ll be invited to a quick meeting with Joanna Soderberg, Digital Library Projects Coordinator, to learn more, ask questions, and find a schedule that works for you.
