TEC will need volunteers to help with our upcoming Recycling Roundups in 2025. This is a "drive-through/drop-off" outdoor event. We will collect recyclable materials ranging from mattresses, tires, textiles, styrofoam, and other hard-to-recycle materials.
Tasks will include: Helping with event setup, directing the flow of event traffic, collecting, unloading, and sorting materials from attendees, surveying attendees, and passing out educational materials.
Additional Information: Help us reduce our waste and bring a reusable water bottle! Please consider bringing a chair if you want to sit at your station.
***Recycling Roundup volunteer opportunities are open to people ages 10+. Those between the ages of 10-14 must be accompanied by a guardian.***
It is also important that volunteers dress appropriately for their volunteer position so that they can fulfill their duty safely and comfortably. We recommend wearing closed-toed, comfortable shoes and would appreciate if all volunteers would refrain from wearing anything that displays obscene language or offensive material while representing our organization. We will have nitrile and work gloves, safety glasses, and safety vests on site.
