On October 4th from 11am-4pm, the Student Government Associations of Fisk University and Tennessee State University are coming together to host a community service event in the Nashville area, specifically on Jefferson Street. Students from both campuses will be participating in a clean-up of Jefferson Street in the first half, going to different non-profit organization sites for community service, and lastly, passing out toiletries to the homeless population. This event is dedicated to giving back to the community that has welcomed both campuses as well as an event of communion between both student bodies.
