Franklin Library

Our mission is to use both traditional and innovative methods to provide a wide range of information and materials consistent with continuing and anticipated instruction and research in the natural and social sciences, business, and the humanities for Fisk University’s diverse community of students, faculty, alumni, researchers, and scholars.

The John Hope and Aurelia E. Franklin Library strives to create a welcoming physical and virtual space for its patrons, it will be an active and vibrant part of the University’s diverse academic community and continue to collect, preserve, and display the history and culture of the University as well as the African American community.
