Raise Your Hand Tutoring- United Way of Greater Nashville
Who We Are
The Raise Your Hand (RYH) tutoring program is an education initiative from United Way that provides high-dosage tutoring to students reading below grade level in Kindergarten through eighth grade. Since 2012, RYH has created a unique design to stimulate innovative strategies to help students achieve reading proficiency by eliminating learning barriers such as hunger, transportation, and competitive classrooms. Our service is exceptional and FREE for students. We’ve boosted community involvement by recruiting volunteers to work with teachers in the classroom in small groups or one-on-one.
What We Do
Provide high-dosage tutoring for students in grades K-8th before and after school.
