Songwriters for Streams is Harpeth Conservancy’s signature riverside event, where acclaimed songwriters and community come together to support science-based conservation, responsible policy, and community engagement for Tennessee’s rivers. Volunteers are a key part of delivering this unforgettable experience. Volunteers are welcome to attend the event before/after shift.
Please read the shift details below:
11am-3pm | Set Up: Unload supplies, Set up VIP tables, chairs, tables, yard games, pop-up tents (HC branded tent/welcome tent), recycling/trash receptables, signage – label receptacles, flags, banners, etc. (10 people needed)
3-5pm | Greeters: Set up at the top of the driveway to welcome folks and direct them to the parking areas. (2-4 people needed)
3:00pm-5:30pm | Parking Attendants: Assist attendees with items from their cars at the parking area: coolers, chairs, etc. (4 people needed)
3-7pm | Welcome Tent: Check-in for attendees, check-in for press (shot lists, etc), merch firesale, HC sign-in sheet, outreach materials. (1-2 people needed)
4-6:30pm | Waste & Recycling: Bus tables, collect trash and recycling and place in appropriate containers, trash grabbers, gloves will be provided. (6 people needed)
6:30-8pm | Break Down/Clean Up: Tear it down, pack it up! (10 people needed)
