Whether you are looking to be involved year round in a key volunteer role or assist at various community events, there's something for everyone! You will be a part of a large group of dedicated volunteers from across the country committed to taking action, demanding better and advocating for pancreatic cancer patients/their families.
Throughout the year the Tennessee Affiliate is looking for volunteers that want to help increase visibility about the world's toughest cancer - pancreas. Some items might consist of:
- Recruiting Volunteers for PanCAN PurpleStride Tennessee
- Making phone calls to previous PurpleStride participants
- Attending Community Events/Distributing Collateral Materials
- Planning various community events/fundraisers
There's something for everyone! Together, we can increase the 5-year survival rate from 13% to 20%.
